My experience spans executive nursing leadership, quality assurance, accreditation readiness, compliance management, and healthcare operations across multiple hospice organizations in Texas. Throughout my career, I have led initiatives that strengthened regulatory compliance, improved quality outcomes, optimized clinical workflows, and enhanced financial performance.
As a Director of Nursing, Patient Care Administrator, and Chief Quality Assurance Compliance Officer, I have successfully guided organizations through CMS, CHAP, and Joint Commission requirements, developed sustainable Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs, implemented corrective action plans, and built systems that support both regulatory success and exceptional patient care.
My work includes designing compliance monitoring systems, improving operational processes, leading accreditation efforts, developing staff training programs, overseeing interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and creating data-driven reporting strategies that support informed decision-making. I am particularly passionate about translating complex regulatory requirements into practical, efficient processes that help organizations remain survey-ready while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
